Phillip joined Silman in 2016 with over ten years of structural engineering experience in new construction methods and materials (steel, concrete, and masonry), historic renovation, curtain wall and facade engineering, blast design, and inspection. Phillip was promoted to Associate in 2019 and currently co-manages a studio.
Recently, Phillip completed the design and new construction of the New York State Equal Rights Heritage Center in Auburn, NY. He’s currently project manager for the adaptive reuse of Powerhouse Workshop in Brooklyn, NY; the adaptive reuse of SuperPier (Pier 57) in New York, NY; a renovation of the East Flatbush Library in Brooklyn, NY; and the new construction of a 10,000 sf headquarters for Alloy Development in Brooklyn, NY.
Phillip is a current member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is the Co-President of the Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY) Membership Committee.
